As a resident of Santa Fe since 1968, I’ve witnessed the changes that occur with increased population, and growth. What I find wonderful are all of the things that have not changed in that length of time that make our city so wonderful: our gorgeous setting in the Sangre de Cristos, our rich cultural history, our fantastic diverse community, and our unique opportunities to serve our city and each other.
In 1968, Santa Fe opened to me in wonderful and unexpected ways. I got employment in financial institutions, was one of the staff at Santa Fe’s first environmental activist organizations, the Central Clearing House founded by Harvey Mudd, directed the Santa Fe Downtown Association, and served as a Special Agent with the New Mexico Attorney General for 25 years, retiring in 2000. I’ve learned a lot about Santa Fe and northern New Mexico. All of these experiences serve me well as your real estate broker, both in investigating and finding and your desired property and networking locally and out-of-state to sell your real estate.
I’ve held my real estate broker’s license since 1997, and have been actively selling since my state retirement in 2000. I hold the ABR and SRES designations, and continue to add to real estate credentials in order to serve my clients’ interests. Mayor David Coss has appointed me the City’s Archaelogical Review Committee, on which I serve as the Vice Chair. The committee works to document and preserve archaeological resources within protected areas of the city which are historically important.
And very importantly, my two children and two grandchildren live here, and I am gifted with their presence here. Luckily they have not found it necessary to move away from this wonderful community in order to pursue careers. Both of my children are on staff at the Santa Fe Community College as academic and financial advisors.
